Artist Biography: BFA Textile Design East Carolina University I come to Minnesota from the Outer Banks of North Carolina where I was involved with a recycled weaving project. My work is predominantly in the area of fiber art with a focus on weaving with recycled materials used in non-traditional ways. I am interested in promoting the craft of weaving through “weave your own” projects and keep my looms available for demonstrations and patron weaving. I also explore other artistic uses for yarn and fabric through hand knitting, crochet and mixed media.
