I have been studying and creating art for most of my life.  I started with drawing, moved to painting & darkroom photography, and just about everything in between. Upon completing a degree in advertising design, I began work as a graphic designer, desktop publisher and then Advertising Coordinator for my family's retail business.  Through my love for nature I have been actively involved in working with environmental quality groups, locally and nationally.  Oil painting and recycled jewelry making are my current creations. The work that you see today reflects the combination of two of my passions:  Art and the Environment.



Michelle has had 14 one woman exhibits since 1995, starting with an
8 month long show at the Montevideo Chippewa County Library.
The most recent show was at City Hall in Minneapolis,
the "Art in the Mayor's Office Exhibit" in Mayor R.T. Ryback's office
and the adjoining Hubert H. Humphry conference room. 
Two original paintings now reside in the Mayors office.
