Go North until Co Rd 6, turn left (west) go 1 mi to 170th Ave SW, take right, first place on right. Artist Biography: I stared painting way back in high school where I took every art class I could. I still have some of the work I did back then. I really didn't do much in the art world with painting after high school because I was busy taking photographs instead. About 17 years ago I took a watercolor workshop with Rose Edin and was instantly addicted. Since then I have taken an average of one workshop every other year from various artists in our region: Karlyn Holman, Joyce Gow, Bridget Austin, Rose Edin, Mary Beth Hughes, Raliegh Kinney, Karen Knutson and Lana Grow to name some of them. With three children growing up at this same time as the classes, I didn't always get a chance to finish paintings I started at workshops. Now my kids are 20, 17 and 15 and are self-sufficient. My husband, Paul, is my best supporter and always encourages me to "go paint"? I also work at the Appleton Post Office as a clerk. That's my fulltime job " painting is a hobby.
